looking to score…(guest blog v. i)

What’s in an SAT score? S is for Steak Seasoning (Montreal), A is for Alcohol, and T is for Thursday. Because really, what measures intelligence better than food, booze, and Thursday evenings? The difference between a 1300 and a 1350? Sometimes, it’s the number of minutes you miss of a long-awaited Grey’s Anatomy Episode (secondary to a women’s basketball scrimmage). Other times, the number represents the proof of liqour that can be tolerated by your alcoholic friends (and yes, we from the Northeast score MUCH higher than those from the South). Bust most likely, 50 stands for 50 cents (not to be confused with 50 Cent…My favorite rapper, though I don’t rap), the cost of an extra Friday survival shot of expresso at the Daily Grind.
But in reality, 50 equals the number of times we should all think about how lucky we are to be where we are…A good friend once told me (via cute card), “Remember, you are one fabulously lucky girl…”
So my advice to you, on this lovely Friday when you are pretending to “work” online, is to take a few moments to think about your SATs (Special Akward In”T”erns ) and to add up your cents and appreciate those who make your life rich…

Now back to the red wine (And Austin walking into yet another wall…)
